I had a really amusing experience today: as I was walking along the street I was approached by a group of pre-teen boys who were doing a survey on faith and religion (apparently associated with a youth group of some sort). I was polite and answered their questions truthfully and thoughtfully, and they were quite professional, though seemingly somewhat amused by my responses. I'd hope that what I had to say at least made them think.
Q1: What is your faith or religion?
A: Satanist.
Q2: How imnportant is your religion to you?
A: Fairly important.
Q3: On a scale of 1 to 10, how much impact would you say your religion has on your life?
A: About a 7.
Q4: Who is god to you?
A: All gods are created by man; god is an imaginary being invented by liars to control the weak.
Q5: Would you say you know god?
A: No.
Q6: And would you say god has had an impact on your life?
A: Yes.
Q7: Who is Jesus to you?
A: Jesus was a jewish mystic who purportedly lived about 2000 years ago in Israel.
Q8: Do you have any prayer reequests for us?
A: I hope you pray for some common sense.
